Running a shop in Baghdad, Basra, Erbil, Mosul, Najaf or anywhere in Iraq means juggling stock, cash, customer credit and suppliers, often with a notebook and a calculator. Circle is a free inventory and point-of-sale (POS) app that puts all of it on your phone, in Arabic or English, with every price in Iraqi dinars (IQD).
Made for shops and small businesses in Iraq
Circle is made for the shops that keep Iraqi neighbourhoods running: groceries and supermarkets, mobile phone and accessories shops, electronics and home appliance stores, clothing and shoe shops, cosmetics and perfume stores, car spare parts dealers, building materials and hardware stores and small wholesalers. Many of them sell on credit, and Circle keeps every customer balance in one place.
What you can do with Circle
- Know your stock at a glance – every sale and purchase updates quantities automatically.
- Sell in seconds – scan a barcode with your phone camera and record cash, card or transfer payments.
- Never run out by surprise – your dashboard shows what is running low so you reorder in time.
- Replace the credit notebook – every customer balance is tracked, with credit limits and 30, 60 and 90-day aging.
- Track suppliers – log purchases, partial payments and what you still owe each supplier.
- See your real profit – daily, weekly and monthly reports of sales, costs and profit.
- Export to CSV – send your sales and products to your accountant as files that open in Excel.
Prices and reports in Iraqi dinars (IQD)
Choose the Iraqi dinar when you set up your business and every price, balance and report is shown in IQD. When supplier prices change, edit your product prices in a few taps so your profit figures stay accurate. Share the receipt on WhatsApp or print it, and open your recent sales, paid or unpaid, in one tap.
Sales tax and your records
Circle can handle VAT on receipts for businesses that charge it: set your VAT rate, choose inclusive or exclusive prices, print your tax number and the VAT lines on every receipt, and see VAT collected and sales excluding VAT in your reports.
Iraq does not have a general VAT. A sales tax applies only to specific goods and services, so most shops do not need a VAT line on their receipts. Circle’s VAT rate defaults to 0, so leave it at 0 if you do not charge tax, and set a rate only if you do. Circle keeps a record of every sale and purchase and lets you export them as CSV files for your accountant. Rules change, so check with your accountant or the General Commission for Taxes.
Arabic first, English when you want it
Circle is built natively in Arabic, right-to-left, with an English interface one tap away. Switch the whole app between Arabic and English any time. Switch to English or back at any time, with no restart.
Keep selling when the internet drops
If the connection drops, keep selling: sales are saved on your phone and sync automatically when you are back online. Customers can pay cash, card, bank transfer, a mobile wallet, or on credit.
Returns, expenses and your true net profit
Process a return in two taps: refund the customer or reduce their balance, and the stock goes back automatically with a credit note. Log rent, salaries and bills as expenses, and Circle shows your real net profit. Set a credit limit for each customer and Circle stops a sale that goes over it. Reprint any receipt or send it as an image with your shop logo on WhatsApp.
Free, on Android and iPhone
Free. No subscription. No credit card. Circle is free to download and use, with no features locked behind a premium plan. It runs on Android and iOS phones and tablets, and your data is stored safely in the cloud, so if your phone is lost your shop records are not.
